GrowRay Technologies, in partnership with commercial cultivator Jake Shockey of SPEnterprises in Michigan, performed and concluded a comprehensive comparative LED yield study between two identical grow rooms:
One containing all GrowRay LED fixtures and the other containing all Double Ended High Pressure Sodium (DE HPS) fixtures. No supplemental or intra-canopy lighting was used, and supplemental CO2 was used.
Nutrient recipe in Deep Water Culture delivery was identical for each room, as was all associated cultivation infrastructure.
Dry Yield
LUMIGROW: 1.4 LBS/LIGHT
GAVITA: 1.7 LBS/LIGHT
GROW RAY: 2.2 LBS/LIGHT
Proper use of GrowRay LED, with of SOPs, typically yields 3+ LBS/Light and over 75g/FT2
The yield and potency study hypothesis and primary goal was to prove that Grow Ray Technologies’ LED fixtures, when specifically paired with the Company’s LED Whole-Systems Yield Optimization Protocols (SOP’s), would:
The test concluded in June 2020, with results that did exceed expectations: The Grow Ray 715W LED room produced substantially more dry-weight yield than 1000W DE HPS lighting.
